Dhruti Kapadia Krishnan has joined the Ingka Group (which owns the IKEA brand) as GBO Global Communications Partner. She will be based in Bangalore, India and will play a vital role in shaping the exciting journey to ‘create a new IKEA’ focused on transformation and growth.
Krishnan will be responsible for strategic and change management communications in the company and will curate and implement business-driven communication and campaigns for the Global Business Operations (GBO).
Ingka’s Global Business Operations (GBO) helps streamline, simplify and standardise ways of working and operations while diversifying the overall digital footprint.
GBO is a key partner for group functions such as Digital, Finance, Procurement and People & Culture, and will expand scope over time. Krishnan will also partner on communications with these group functions to set up value-added services and Centres of Expertise, co-located with the GBO.
She has held various communications roles at companies such as Vodafone, IBM, GE, Bangalore International Airport and has accrued extensive experience at Unilever with the UniOps function. She also spent close to seven years with Burson-Marsteller in integrated communications.
