ASPIRE – by its sheer meaning has created in me aspirations to believe in my dreams and in my perseverance to achieve them with grit, strength and honesty.
The book was launched on 12th March, 2026 in Colombo and I was privileged to witness the launch firsthand. Amith Prabhu and Sarika Chavan have done a commendable job with this book, the fourth in the series. I have been fortunate to witness the launch of Spark, Shine and Surge in person
This book is about 24 Indian communication leaders sharing their professional journeys that have shaped them into becoming who they are. These are men and women who make an impact and send a strong message of determination that is relevant to the rapidly evolving communications landscape.
I am going to address these fellow travellers as trailblazers for all the right reasons as each one of them has been instrumental playing a pivotal role in putting India on the global map.
It is so inspiring to know how these men and women have shown the belief, the courage and the conviction to take a leap in their respective careers with an intent to tell their story that is built on integrity and honesty. It has made me believe that a message is not merely to be told, but to be conveyed with an intention of being understood keeping in mind your stakeholders’ emotions and sentiments.
The book has beautifully encapsulated the diverse yet identical journeys of these trailblazers
as it conveys one unanimous message that great storytelling is built on “belongingness” – a deep connection to culture and pulse of your audience.
Based across different countries and continents these communication leaders have remained focussed, passionate, consistent and disciplined.
I was moved upon reading how small instances and experiences through their childhood had shaped their path towards becoming global communication leaders. This goes to show that how each phase of their life journey has been instrumental in forming a strong belief system
Through varied industry verticals and platforms, these inspiring people have made their way to great heights. In my opinion, the book Aspire is a must read for those who seek inspiration.
Through this book, the editors have given their readers a medium, a window into understanding how global communication leaders think in a structured and intentional manner.
While I truly enjoyed reading the experiences and stories from these amazing 24 communication global leaders, I also was privileged to meet and interact with a couple of them in person at THRIVE 2026 in Colombo and take back with me lessons to implement in my own journey towards being an efficient and humble communications professional.
My heart is full and mind is focused reading about the journeys and insights from these global Indians in Communications.
